4th of July!

A little late, but finally getting to some 4th of July pictures…these are from Whidbey Island, Washington.  It was a beautiful day and gorgeous night with a full moon!

Bellevue Party

I photographed a beautiful party for Team Photogenic in downtown Bellevue the other night.  It was all outdoors with a band, fireplace, delicious food, and wine from several local wineries to taste.

Adaptation

I am very happy to be part of a show opening this Thursday night at University House in Wallingford.  They have great openings, and the show will be up for the whole summer.  The piece I'm showing is a black and white photo of Seattle musician, Evan Flory-Barnes playing an upright bass.  Here is the picture, and the invitation card is below.

Greater Tacoma Community Foundation

The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation celebrated their latest grant recipients with a wonderful reception last week.  The Foundation gives out grants to many organizations throughout Pierce County.  Here is a little description of what they were celebrating….

VIBRANT COMMUNITY GRANT AMOUNT UP 60% OVER YEAR PRIOR

Tacoma, WA: As part of its work to improve life for all in Pierce County, The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation today announced that it has awarded $606,142 in grants to local nonprofit organizations. Annual and multi-year grants were distributed to 76 nonprofits working within the Community Foundation’s 5 focus areas highlighted under its Vibrant Community platform: arts & culture, basic needs, education, environment, and neighborhoods & communities.

Monkey Grind Espresso Bar

Village Theater Gala

I photographed the 2012 Village Theater Gala at the Fairmont Olympic for Team Photogenic on May 19th.  A really elegant night for a great cause!

Damn Yankees!
