I am currently showing a variety of summer pictures at Studio Evolve in Wallingford.  This is a great Pilates studio and a beautiful space.  They will be up until the end of August.

Black Box Gallery

I am thrilled to have one of my photographs in a group exhibition called "Summertime:  That Beautiful Season" at the Black Box Gallery in Portland, Oregon.  There is an opening reception on Friday, September 7th from 5-8:30, and the exhibition will run until September 22nd.  It is curated by Todd Tubutis who is the Executive Director of the gallery.   Here is a link to the show:  http://blackboxgallery.com/Summertime/Summertime.html

New Work!

I am very happy to have 12 new pieces hanging for the month of September at the Essential Baking Company Cafe in Wallingford.  All the photos were taken with my Holga film camera.  The film was then digitally scanned, I worked on it a bit in Lightroom, and then it was printed as a digital print.  There are some images from London, Chicago, Kauai, and then a group of surfer photographs…perfect for the end of summer!!  Here are a few -

New Work!

I had lots of fun recently printing up some new images.  They were all taken with a Holga plastic, very low-tech, film camera - and then scanned into digital files.  I then worked on them in Lightroom and printed them on my printer.  They were shot on Kauai in 2011.  I wanted them to have a kind of "vintage" feel. 

Adaptation

I am very happy to be part of a show opening this Thursday night at University House in Wallingford.  They have great openings, and the show will be up for the whole summer.  The piece I'm showing is a black and white photo of Seattle musician, Evan Flory-Barnes playing an upright bass.  Here is the picture, and the invitation card is below.

Monkey Grind Espresso Bar

I currently have my Summer Sun series of photos on view at the Monkey Grind Espresso Bar in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle.  http://www.monkeygrind.com/  It's a very cute coffee bar, and I'm happy to be showing there until the end of June!

New Group Show

Documenting Live Music in Seattle

Summer Sun!

From today until August 15th, I will have several images displayed at the Essential Baking Company Cafe in Madison Valley.

The theme is "Summer Sun" and all the images are about sun, beach, the ocean - all those fun things!
