Recently I had a really fun time photographing the grand opening of the Jonathan Adler store in the University Village, Seattle, for Team Photogenic. The store looks fantastic with the bright, colorful, whimsical flavor that Mr. Adler adds to everything he does. The evening was a benefit for the "It Gets Better" campaign - a great cause for youth - check it out: http://www.itgetsbetter.org/. Dan Savage, who founded the campaign, attended and gave a heartfelt speech. Jonathan Adler shook hands all night and autographed books and objects that people purchased. His husband, Simon Doonan, of Barney's fame - attended and added some glamour to the evening! Fun!
