Bright Eyes

The wonderful band, Bright Eyes, was recently in Seattle playing at the Paramount Theater.  Check out their website here:  http://www.conoroberst.com/.  Conor Oberst is the lead singer and songwriter.  In addition to Bright Eyes, he has a few other musical projects including:  MONSTERS OF FOLK,  DESAPARECIDOS, CONOR OBERST AND THE MYSTIC VALLEY BAND.  

Wine and Wisdom

The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation recently held an event at the Museum of History and Industry in Tacoma.  There was a short financial presentation followed by a beautiful wine tasting complete with plates of delicious food to accompany all the wine!

Rainier Beach Art Walk!

The South Seattle neighborhood of Rainier Beach recently held an art walk spanning several blocks along Rainier Avenue.  There were art exhibits, artists out working, musicians, and even food vendors selling lunch specials.  Despite the rain, it was a fun event!

Tacoma Event

 I enjoyed photographing an event for the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation http://www.tacomafoundation.org/ recently.  They hosted a roundtable dialogue with people from non-profits all over Tacoma.  The event was held at the Pacific Grill Events Center in downtown Tacoma.

Valley Vibes Jazz Concert

SEEDArts presented another wonderful concert at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center on Friday, September 9th featuring the Frank Clayton Quartet and the Jovino Santos Neto Trio.  Both groups were wonderful!

Korean Festival!
