Seattle Event Photographer: Gage Collector's Gala 2014

In early March, I photographed the Gage Collector's Gala for Team Photogenic.  All proceeds went to benefit the Gage School of Art in Seattle.  They raised a lot of money for their wonderful art programs by auctioning off works of art by faculty, graduates, and local artists.  Held at St. Mark's Cathedral on Capital Hill, it was a beautiful party!

Seattle Event Photographer: Design Center Awards

On March 6th, I photographed the 2014 Design Awards for the Seattle Design Center.  The dinner and award ceremony were held at the Design Center, and designers came from all over the Northwest - from Alaska and Canada, down to Seattle.  Guest wore mainly white to compliment the sleek, modern decor, and colored lights played off the white to create a beautiful atmosphere.  Seeing the winning design projects was a treat - so many talented designers in the Northwest!

Seattle Event Photographer: Oscar Gala!

I photographed an Oscar Gala at the Triple Door in Seattle last weekend.  It was fun and glamorous!  The evening was a fundraiser for The Film School - Here is their description:

Join TheFilmSchool on Oscar Night for our exclusive Academy Awards Gala. Watch the Oscars in style at the Triple Door in downtown Seattle, where we’ll show the Academy Awards on the big screen, host a benefit auction of premium items and experiences, and you’ll dine on wonderful food and drink from Wild Ginger.

It’s all happening to benefit TheFilmSchool! Our goal is to raise $200,000 to continue our impactful work providing youth and adults with a foundational education in storytelling, screenwriting, directing and production. Our goal is to give creative storytellers and filmmakers the ability to make a difference in the world through film.

Film is one of the world’s most powerful art forms. For over a decade, we have guided, instructed and empowered our students to conceive and develop their story ideas, bringing them to life. We believe powerful stories, given a platform, can lift the human condition.
